Highlights of my Summer

This summer has gone by way too fast, I know I say that every year, but this time I mean it!  As soon as school ended I made a mental note to myself to not waste a single ounce of time and thankfully I can say that I truly filled every second of my time doing something fun or productive.

I was blessed to get to journey on three different trips, each of which I learned a lot on about myself, others and my relationship with the Lord.  I had loads of fun getting to know new friends and making memories with my old ones;)  These were some of my highlights:

I had such a sweet time visiting with the Torres!  Check out Mikayla's blog here!  While in Texas we went on a photoshoot in downton McKinney.  Mikayla kept tickling me while we were posing!

Shopping day with the girls:

A week after my journey to Texas, some people from my church and I traveled to Washington, D.C. where we handed out audio Bible stories in 133 languages! On our day off we got to enjoy a National's baseball game:)

Two weeks later my high school group from church took a week to retreat on the Delta and stayed on several houseboats!  I had such a lovely time relaxing, banana boating and growing in God's Word!

After each of these amazing trips it was honestly hard to be home, just simply because I wasn't experiencing some sort of life-changing experience.  But something that I'm learning is that I can still live for and serve God in my everyday life, I don't need to travel across the country to do that.  Since I've been home I've already gotten to witness to two of my coworkers: all glory to God!

Beach days are the best:

I'm in love with VW Buses if you can't tell by my face and shirt:)

If summer was this amazing I can't wait to see what Fall holds...
